A Sad Day
Yesterday morning, the United States of America was attacked by terrorists who succeed in destroying two towers of the World Trade Center as well as damages to the Pentagon and Camp David. I mean, of all countries, the global superpower was attacked! Now which country would feel safe after a large and powerful nation has been attacked? All those lives lost in a matter of minutes, especially those trapped in the WTC towers just before they collapsed. Truly a sad and tragic day. I'm sure this was how Americans felt when Pearl Harbor was attacked by the Japanese prior to the U.S. entering WWII. A nation filled with grief and anguish and people asking "Why?" While watching the newscasts, I saw how surreal and unbelieveable this was but it had happened. It was like watching a Hollywood movie, so unreal...... To my readers out there, please pray for the mental and spiritual health of those families affected by this tragedy and that God would be there to guide and help them to heal from this ordeal.

My Business Ethics prof. started us this morning on a discussion about what happend yesterday. Needless to say, everyone felt that it was a sad tragedy and an act of cowardice. This is what I don't understand about these fanatical terrorists. They want to be heard for their cause be what it may be but targeting civilians just to get people's attention is just plain cowardly. This only causes a retaliation from the affected party, it does not bring both sides to the negotiating table. Targeting civilians who cannot see their attackers and are not armed is just COWARDLY!. Well only God can judge them and they will be judged on Judgement Day.

May God protect and help heal those who have lost loved ones in this tragic event and that He will bring comfort to them all. Amen.

It's The Start Of The School Year And We Know It, But I Don't Feel Fine
Blogger's been giving me some problems logging in. School started without much of a hitch except that my first class was cancelled and I had a five hour wait till my next class. My schedule looks pretty good this term, with a four day weekend starting from Thursday late afternoons to Monday evenings. Got all the courses and sections that I really need, I guess prayer works when you've been praying fervently. Work with CCS doesn't start till 17th of Sept. because Leeds (the new residence building) hasn't been wired into the network. Oh well, I guess that means more time to go to the gym or something. Speaking of Reznet, it'll be another interesting month working there with Rob. I wonder which girls he'll be harassing and who else will try to mack on girls who drop off their computers there.

Frosh dinner at Fellowship was good and we had a very big turn out of around 40 people. It's always nice to see so many new faces. Pray that we can continue to grow and retain new members to Elijah.
