There's a Pulse Throbbing in my Head
*sigh* There is nothing much going on this past January other than school and projects and group meetings... which wouldn't be all that bad if a) I lived closer to campus or b) the public transportation in Ottawa was more efficient. Went back to school on Friday to do some self-teaching sessions on SAP but lo and behold, someone thought that they must be so smart that they decided to either turn off the SAP server or disrupted the connection for the SAP login icon. So I didn't get my learning on for SAP, but did some other stuff before heading home. I managed to park in the underground garage on a weekday without paying or getting ticketed! *Sweet!* Anyways, upon exiting the garage, I decided to turn left onto Campus Avenue from University Drive. And being bored and noticing the roads being somewhat snow covered, I decided to accelerate and do a hard left while giving the parking brake (E-Brake) a quick yank and release to slide the tail of the car out while doing a slight countersteer and accelerating. Yup, I drifted an automatic transmission car ;) (which is easy considering there was so much snow around). Good thing there wasn't any cars or much people around, expect the odd person waiting for the bus. Probably thing I was a lunatic or something. Ah well, had to do something to relieve the boredom. More group meetings for the rest of the week and assignments to hand-in. Oh! Viv told me today that there is a new person at church in the univeristy age group, His name is Brian and he is from Singapore. Apparently he's on Work-placement from N.T.U. (Nanyang Technological University) and he's working at uncle Gerald's department in the government (CPC?). Hopefully he'll come to the Joint Fellowship Dinner/Event.
Heard of a new christian acoustic rock band on friday while listening to CHRI. They're called "
Calling Joshua" and they hail from either Regina or Sasketchewan. Their songs aren't that bad and they make a lot of sense and relate to our daily christian walk. Go try them out!
That's all for now, later!
