Update
(Currently reading the book of Job)

It's been a while since the last blog entry. Just been busy with work and getting used to actually working if you know what I mean. I also have a few things to be thankful for that God has provided to me, eventhough it might seem insignificant at times. Looking back, I can see how differently things can turn out if He did not have hand in everything that I'm thankful for.

Secrets of the Vine by Bruce Wilkinson is such a good video series and book to read (hopefully I can start on that book too). Actually learning about how God wants us to grow as believers and how to be fruitful and more fruitful for Him. Often time it's not how much you do for Him but how much time you spend with Him in order to move from fruitful to more fruitful. Learning when to have devotions (which should be in the mornings instead of at night where we all tend to just doze off while talking with the Lord ;P), having time for prayer and what to pray for.

I'm also thankful for having a great manager to work with as well as co-workers, things could have turned out much worse if He didn't answer prayers. Also for the opportunity to apply for a manager's position with another store. It's now in His hand if I'm chosen for the next level of interviews. Please pray for that too. =)

I also have a few prayer requests for the church and the congregation. Please pray for good weather for the upcoming church picnic where all 3 congregations can come together and have fun and get to know each other. Please pray for the beach volleyball event hosted by ACES where brothers and sisters will be able to bring their non-believer friends to the event and hopefully be curious or interested in knowing more about Jesus. Please pray for God's healing hand on those who have been afflicted with illnesses and diseases that they would be well soon. Also pray for comfort for those who have lost loved ones recently this year. And finally, please pray for holy strength in all the marriages in the church, be it strong or weavering, that the word and concept of divorce is never entertained, for it is something that God despises.

I pray for God's wisdom and vision on the leadership of this country of ours, that they will do all that is right and good in the God's eyes.

Amen.

That's all for now... more to come.
