Are Fantasies Really Final? Final Fantasy: The Holy Spirit Within

Someone wrote an extra 0 in the bank account for Commando Games and the bank teller Jennifer was kind enough not to laugh at me when the computer couldn't find the account. Finally straightened out the whole mess and paintball is ON! Aaron got his friend Henry to take MJ's place for paintball so now we are set! Woo Hoo! Had a short work day today, did most of my work for the website updating. Then went to St. Laurent for lunch with Jon and Chris (his room mate) at East Side Mario's. The waiter we had wasn't the sharpest knife in the drawer. He forgot about Chris' soup and my drink refill until we reminded him. After that, I went to Sport Check to check out the door crasher sale. I finally got a golf bag = ) now I don't have to hand carry my clubs to the driving range. Will check out the rest of the sale there and at Sports Experts.

Gonna go watch Final Fantasy at the Coliseum tonight, hope it is as good as it was hyped up to be. Dom got us our tickets in advance, thanks Dom! Since today was the opening night of the movie there's sure to be lots of people there. Got back from watching the Final Fantasy, boy was it packed. There were two paramedics standing by in the theatre as well, probably just in case people get too excited and pass out from all the excitement with the movie. The movie was a bit confusing at the beginning, especially for those who do not follow the Final Fantasy games. Maybe that's why Jay Stone, movie critic for the Ottawa Citizen gave the movie two stars only. The 3-D animation was very well done on most parts, especially the rendering of each hair strand and skin texture but there's still a bit of overly smoothness to the skin texture. There were some character facial deformaties at certain scenes but barely noticeable. I give it 4.5 / 5 stars. The movie wasn't really Chau's cup of tea : ) but she enjoyed it. After we got out of the Coliseum and headed back to the car, we noticed some green things covering all the cars. At first I thought they were leaves or seeds from trees since it was rather windy. On closer inspection, they were bugs. Good thing Keith wasn't there, he hates bugs. This is a wierd phenomenon for Ottawa to see all these bugs on cars. For a second Em, Aaron, Chau and I thought that it may have something to do with the movie, but that silly notion passed.

Trip home was uneventful. Sleep now, work tomorrow. Hasta Luego, muchachos!
