Doing His Bidding
"We who are Jews by birth and not 'Gentile sinners' know that a man is not justified by observing the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by observing the law, because by observing the law no one will be justified."
Galatians 2:15-16

Ever wonder if high school kids ever shower or wash their clothes? I'm sure that when I was in high school the adults would think the same thing.
I was on the 95 at Rideau a few days back (when it was supremely gusty and windy and I saw a 400 pounder get moved backwards) and there a number of high school kids on the bus. One of them was standing close to me (packed bus) and I could smell his stench. Now whether this was due to him being negligent in personal hygiene or not knowing how to wash his clothes, I do not know since I was doing me damndest to keep my lunch from erupting. So yeah that was an experience.

The above passage shows how Christianity is different from Judaism and Islam. We are justified in Christ by faith and not just observing the Law. I received in my letterbox a pamphlet on Islam. It talked about how peaceful and wonderful Islam is and can be, however at the end of the pamphlet, there was a little phrase; "Every child is born in a state of 'Islam', then, his parents make him a Jew, a Christian or a Magian." To me it sounds like a singling out of Jews and Christians and placing them in a bad spot by making it sound like Jews and Christians force their own to be Jews and Christians. But, what to do....

Had a odd dream a few days past. It was dramatic and "violent"? because there were guns and car chases(I think?). I should have written it down when I woke up from it in the middle of the night, now I forget most of the parts. But somewhere in the dream, I remembered that Em was in trouble of somesort and I began to worry. I started to do or plan something (her rescue?) that's all I can remember. Like I said, should have written it down. Sometimes my dreams tend to me "prophetic" in otherwords, they tend to come true. However, these dreams are not overly important. They are just about minor things that would come true in a few weeks to half a year. It's wierd and interesting as well.

Wow, only one more day before I get to meetup with Em! Can't wait for that. : )

Neways, back to work for me. Back in a bit, later!

Slipping Through The Cracks
Ever wonder how some people ever get into University or a job? Here's an example, the prof. hands out a survey that is to be filled out and logic assumes that one would pass the sheets back down the row and back to the front and so forth to the other side of the room. But not for my 440 class. The sheets go down the row to the back of the class and it goes ACROSS to the other side and dissappears somewhere or someone ate it. So I didn't get to fill in the survey. hmm... and these people are in fourth year? Sheesh!

Back To The Grind
Thanksgiving in TO:
Five days of R&R in TO.
Stayed at my aunt Joyce's place while I was in TO, so cool that she was able to house me there for the weekend. : )
Friday: Went ten-pin bowling with Jon, Josh, Frank, Derrick and Em because Em didn't want to go play pool. It was pretty good, finished second and I just decided to goof off in the second game. Derrick is a bowling freak, he can get strikes with his left hand (non master hand). FREAKY!!!
Among the other places we went to was the Korean BBQ place, Congee Wong (for dinner and lunch the next day, same location), Pacific Mall/ Market Village(twice) and Dave and Busters. Not once did we go to Ten Ren for bubble tea! We went to First Markham to a bbtea place called Eternity. The bbtea was good but service took an Eternity(pun). : ) Josh found out that one of the food court stalls had milk tea with pearls for a much cheaper price and the taste wasn't that bad plus the pearls weren't too hard or too soft. The stall had a shaker that seals the cup as well with random kids cartoon designs, ie. Doraemon, Mickey Mouse...

Got me some ram for $26 PC-100, it's so cheap! Also I got a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution VII model as well as Initial D stage 2 and 3 cds. Oh yeah, I also got my mom a wok, almost like the one she wanted. Wallet now feels a little lighter, I wonder why? hmm...

If anyone needs to rent a car, go to National Car rental, they give you the least hassle plus they have reasonable rates.
I can never understand how some ppl can or are able to fit in the f-word into every subsequent word in their conversation. After a while, it kinda hurts the ears.

Oh I finally saw that baby blue del sol that Josh has been telling me about. The mod looks good but hate the color and paint design. The exhaust is quiet for a modded car. Oh well.

I wonder if the weather will improve, getting sick of this dreary weather, feels like Vancouver or London.

Thanksgiving
Wow! it's been awhile since I've updated you, bloggie. Let's see now.... Well, work as Reznet has been hectic and slow. There's the occasional student who comes in to whine about not getting internet service after they had paid $200 for it. Hey, we don't sell internet service, housing does. The die-hard tards keep insisting that we do something. And it only makes it more frustrating when they get other tards on their floor to help them out, such as using other people's network jacks or getting other ppl to try their network jacks. Well guess what, ya bunch of genius'? There is a security feature that shuts down the ports when someone else tries to use someone else's port. It still happens after everyone on rez has been notified.

Fourth year is a hectic filled year. If it isn't case studies, it's assignments and projects or midterms and finals. I think I need more sleep as well so that I don't fall asleep in class. ; P

The Boundaries of Dating. An interesing book and course. Suitable course for some people I know since they fall into the christian & non-christian dating portion of it. There is also the honesty part as well, in other words, be yourself and don't hid behind masks and multiple personalities or facades.
BE REAL!!!. I think as christians, we should all try to be as true, real and as Christ-like as possible. I say "as possible" b/c we are human after all but that doesn't mean we shouldn't try since the bible does command us to do so.
