Ahhh.......Some Rest At Last.....
Today was the ESM Sports Ministry volleyball/ evangelistic dinner. Boy was it ever hectic even up till the day of. All that planning and prayer really paid off. Hopefully this event has helped bring more non-believers to know and want to seek more of God. Pray that the next event will be much better and with more non-believers. Praise God for the volunteers, they really made a difference. Big shout out to all those who helped make this event a success!!!

On to other matters: Lately Pastor Dan has been preaching on spiritual willingness; doing what is required of being christian without mutterings and grumbling. I've been noticing much of that among christians which is really dismaying. As christians, we are held at a higher standard by non-believers and we are called to be the light of the world. Some have behaved hypocritically to the point of being two-faced; announcing that they are christians, yet having actions and behaviour that shows otherwise. Sometimes I wonder if what the repercussions are during the time of judgement. While this does not abstain myself from such actions, as we are all sinners; sometimes situations and duress can cause ourselves to be influenced by the evil one. But all the more, we ar christians have to guard against that and not let such behaviour become the accepted norm but to be rebuked or chastised in a brotherly/ sisterly way.

anyways,
Blading tomorrow and Jon gets the day off!!! Whoohoo! Now he can attend sunday school withour having to rush off halfway.

G'nite!

Tumbleweeds everywhere...
*sigh* Still bumming around and looking for a job to occupy my time...

Anyways, went to MK to have lunch with Aaron, Em, Jon, Ken (Em's co-worker) and his gf Dusty. It seems that whenever I have a personal order there, it's always the last to come out. Hmm, if I didn't know better, I swear it's a conspiracy there... ;P So after lunch, Em and Ken dropped Jon and I off at Jon's place on the way back to work, while Aaron went back to work at Scotia. Jon and I chilled at his new place and we played GT3 and Hot Shots 'till Em stopped by after work. Still can't get use to driving with control pads instead of using a driving wheel, but getting better. ;P

We played GT3 till Aaron got to Jon's place. Em finally won one race when she played against Jon in Skylines on an oval track. So we all went to Joey's for all you can eat fish and chips while Em (after much pain-tortured hesitation, chose a trout dish). I think I have had enough of fish and chips for a while. After dinner, Em and I went to the Mudoven to pick up our ceramics. They look pretty darn good, for a bunch of amateurs, if I do say so myself. ; )

That's it for today, more to come!
Later!

A Nation of Clueless Lemmings
Yups, that's how Canadians seem to be now a-days. Up at Major's Hill Park waiting for the fireworks to begin, some fool(s) start staring at the parliament buildings and soon many others follow for no apparent reason. They most likely asked themselves the same question but probably didn't want to be different from what other people were doing. So like good lemmings or sheep they followed suit and stared at the parliament buildings. *Sheesh* FYI. The fireworks are launched from Champlain's Lookout which is a hill next to the National Art Gallery. I guess those lemmings felt like such a$$es and mentally kicked themselves for facing the wrong way. Other than that, and some pesky kids, Canada Day was pretty darn good.
: )

Peace Outside!
